Catalyst provides credit union members with fast, convenient domestic and international wire transfers.
Most wire requests from member credit unions are submitted through TranZact with the use of a wire personal identification number (PIN) for authentication. Security features for TranZact-originated wire requests include: defining the maximum wire amount a user can request; establishing when a second user verification is required; and authorizing system access through the use of a token.
Wire requests may also be submitted to Catalyst by telephone – with users authenticating their identity through a unique wire PIN.
Catalyst can process U.S. dollar international wire requests, as well as foreign exchange (FX) wire requests. Wires are entered through a secure Internet connection, with a swift-code check (not initially available through TranZact) and an OFAC filter built into the system (the OFAC filter applies to domestic and international wire transfers).
