Attention Member Credit Unions:

At approximately 12:30 p.m. CST on Tuesday, February 1, Catalyst Corporate became aware of a third-party actor attempting to deceive member credit unions into disclosing sensitive account information by way of a large volume email phishing attack, informing the recipient that their TranZact credentials will expire unless they click a link to complete an online web form.

Please note: Catalyst Corporate will never ask you to click on an email to identify yourself, to enter a user ID or to provide password information.

Catalyst's internal security operations team is currently investigating the activity and will provide any updates as they are discovered.

To prevent inadvertent fraud, Catalyst Corporate is currently not accepting call-in wires.

The email will appear as below with a "from" name of Catalyst Corporate FCU but with a Gmail-based reply address. Please delete these emails and do not click the links in the body of the message. If possible, please notify your IT and security teams so they may adjust their security settings to attempt to block this activity.
