by Catalyst Corporate | Mar 13, 2023

Plans are well underway for Catalyst Corporate’s 45th annual Economic & Payments Forum, slated for September 18-20 at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West. This event will flex its muscle with industry thought leaders who will deliver strategic financial management insights, economic outlooks and analysis of the latest payments trends.

Among this year’s speakers is Tulane University’s Finance Professor and Founder of Burkenroad Reports security analysis Peter Peter Ricchiuti Ricchiuti – the college professor many wish they had!  A recipient of numerous academic awards, his insights have also been featured by various media outlets including, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, The New York Times, Bloomberg, CNBC and The Nightly Business Report.

Ricchiuti is a frequent contributor in financial and business media and has addressed about 1,200 organizations in 47 states and several countries as a popular conference speaker. This includes a wide range of audiences, from corporate executives and financial planners to waterpark owners and NFL players. He places particular focus on what’s ahead for the economy and what the financial markets are telling us. Ricchiuti will provide his outlook for credit unions and the financial services landscape.

Ricchiuti began his career at the investment firm of Kidder Peabody & Co in Boston, MA and later skillfully managed more than $3 billion as the Chief Investment Officer for the State of Louisiana. He is the host of a popular weekly business show on National Public Radio (NPR) in New Orleans called “Out to Lunch” and recently published his first book about investing lessons, titled “Stocks Under Rocks.” In some circles, he has been compared to Warren Buffett, as the “greatest value investor of our lifetime.”

Ricchiuti’s Forum 2023 presentation, scheduled for Monday, September 18, promises to provide need-to-know economic insights to help credit unions prepare to deliver perspectives on financial indicators. Forum 2023 will cover a spectrum of topics, including the U.S. economy, emerging payments trends and the evolving digital banking landscape, interest rate risk and regulatory concerns.
